- Remember to reflect on your progress towards your initial goals, how those goals may have shifted/changed, and what impact this time has had on you overall.
In the beginning my initial goal was to learn about new technology that is being developed for the future of medicine. However, in the end I realize I learned so much more than just that. I learned about people's stories and how their past has influenced how they grow as well as the power of connection.
- Would you recommend this senior project to another student? Why or why not?
Personally, I would not recommend this project to another senior. Although I enjoyed my time and it was an amazing opportunity, at the end I felt burnt out and tired. I realize that I should have taken this time to be more relaxed before going into college.
- Should the school incorporate some of these wider “passion project” proposals into more traditional Senior Projects? Why or why not?
I think the school should allow people to explore whatever they're interested even though it may seem random to another person. Although we still continue to find what we love in college, why not take a stressful time at the end of the year to allow someone to do what they want.

Thank you for your honest reflections, Emma. I have enjoyed reading about your time. What do you think contributed to your feelings of exhaustion and burn out? Do you think students in a "normal" year would feel the same way? Why or why not?
